Worship at St Mark's

Each Sunday we have three worship services at St Mark's and one service at the Saltney Lighthouse Community Church. All our services usually last somewhere between 60 and 80 minutes.

To find out what we are studying between now and Easter download the Summer Sermon Series.

  9:15 Holy Communion

This service uses a service sheet that contains all the text of the service together with hymns from a hymn book led by the organ.

  10:45 Morning Worship

The songs at this service are led by a worship group with guitars and keyboard, and appear on a large screen for easy reading.

Part way through the children and young people can leave to join there own groups; Pathfinders for 11-14 year olds and St Mark's Kidz Klub for 3-11 year olds.

During the service there is a reading from the bible and one of our preachers will explain what the passage means and how we can apply it in our own lives.

On the first Sunday of each month we have an all age service with activities for all ages.

  6:30 Evening Praise
The evening service is similar to morning worship but more informal and often quieter.

St Mark's  is accessible to wheelchair users without the need for a ramp.
An induction loop system is installed for the benefit of hearing aid users.

  10:30 Saltney Lighthouse Community Church
This service is more informal with songs and words on a screen and music from a keyboard.

After the services, we serve coffee and tea and this is a great time to  have a chat and get to know others in the church.

At the end of Morning Worship and Evening Praise there is opportunity for Prayer Ministry when members of our team are available to pray with you about any concerns that you may have.
