CHILD CONTACT CENTRE

For children to meet with their absent parent in separated/divorced families. Meets every second and fourth Saturday morning from 10.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Appointments are generally arranged by a referring agency, for example your solicitor.
The Child Contact Centre was established in 1994. The purpose of the centre is for children to meet with their absent parent in separated/divorced families.
The centre is manned entirely by volunteers. Refreshments are provided such as tea, coffee and squash. We do not charge for these but any contribution to the cost is welcome.
The children meet with parents in a spacious hall where toys and games are provided. There are a few conditions for use of the centre which are there for everyone’s benefit. The conditions are explained when you are referred to the centre.
We are a “supported” contact centre which means that we operate as a centre to facilitate contact - we do not supervise contact and we have no official capacity.
